54-year-old driver injured after Kia Sorento hit utility pole

WARREN COUNTY, MO – A 54-year-old Union driver was injured after she crashed her 2019 Kia Sorento into a utility pole on Thursday afternoon.

Police report Margaret M. Evans was traveling south on State Highway TT when she ran off the right side of the road. Evans over-corrected and caused the Kia to hit a ditch and a utility pole. The crash happened one mile south of Highway T around 4:55 p.m.

Evans was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington for minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

The Kia was totaled.
