40-year-driver ran stop sign causing three-vehicle crash

HIGH RIDGE, MO – A 40-year-old Ballwin driver ran a stop sign at Missouri 30 and Little Brennan Road and caused a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning.

Police report Jason J. Leeker was traveling westbound on Missouri 30 in a 2016 RAM 1500 at about 8:25 a.m., when he ran a red light at Little Brennan Road. His RAM struck the left side of both a 2006 Toyota Camry, driven by 27-year-old John H. Reardon, and a 2016 Kia Optima, driven by 57-year-old Patricia A McDowell.

McDowell was transported to Mercy Hospital South for moderate injuries.

Police report all three drivers were wearing their seat belts.

All three vehicles were totaled.
