33-year-old Wentzville woman injured after rear-ending Ford F-150

WENTZVILLE, MO – A 33-year-old Wentzville woman was injured after she rear-ended a 1994 Ford F-150 on northbound US-61 on Tuesday night.

Jessica L. McDaniel was traveling northbound on US-61 in a 2016 Hyundai Sonata when she rear-ended the Ford around 6:35 p.m., according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. The Ford, driven by 23-year-old David Utiss III, was stopped due to traffic congestion on US-61.

McDaniel was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis for minor injuries. Utiss, of O’Fallon, was not injured in the crash.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.

The Hyundai was totaled and the Ford sustained moderate damages.
