33-year-old man injured after rear-ending dump truck

CLARK COUNTY, MO – A 33-year-old man from Apopka, FL was injured after rear-ending a dump truck on southbound Missouri 27 on Monday afternoon.

Police report Jeffrey A. Fletcher was traveling south on Missouri 27 in a 2000 GMC Sierra when he rear-ended a stationary dump truck. The dump truck was providing traffic services at the time. Police report the accident happened at US-136 around 12:25 p.m.

Fletcher sustained moderate injuries, but refused treatment. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The GMC was totaled and the dump truck sustained extensive damages.
