27-year-old driver sustains moderate injuries in Highway O crash

STE. GENEVIEVE COUNTY, MO – A 27-year-old St. Charles driver sustained moderate injuries after his vehicle hit a tree early Thursday morning.

Police report Zachery T. Gould was traveling westbound on Highway O east of Highway 32 in a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado. The Chevrolet traveled off the right side of the road and hit a tree around 5 a.m.

Gould was transported to Mercy Hospital South. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The Chevrolet was totaled.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
