WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, MO – Two people were injured when a driver took a curve too fast on the section of Black Creek Rd near Miller Rd, MSHP reports.
Abigail E Meckfessel, 19, was speeding in a Ford Taurus on northbound Black Creek Rd. As she neared Miller Rd, she took a turn too fast, which caused the Taurus to stray off the road and into a guy wire before colliding with a utility pole.
Meckfessel suffered minor injuries in the incident. Her passenger, Michael J Jones, 21, was moderately injured. They were taken to Mercy Hospital South by ambulance after first responders arrived on the scene around 3:20 a.m.
