OSAGE COUNTY, MO — A 23-year-old Jefferson City woman suffered serious injuries late Monday morning in a single-car crash on US Route 50 near Loose Creek, according to a crash report by Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Trooper B. R. Lange responded to the accident along US-50 eastbound about a 0.1 mile west of Loose Creek at around 10:00 a.m.
A 2012 Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound along Route 50 when it ran off the right side of the roadway and became airborne before it struck a ditch and overturned. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time, was ejected from the vehicle.
The young woman was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries. No information about her current condition has been disclosed.
