Woman seriously injured in I-70 crash

WARREN COUNTY, MO – A 53-year-old woman was seriously injured on Tuesday when a car cut-off the woman’s vehicle and caused her to crash into a cable barrier.

Jean Stock was driving her 2016 Buick Encore in the left lane on I-70 near mile marker 198. Around 8:25 a.m. a vehicle in the right lane cut in front of the Buick, and Stock swerved to the left to avoid a collision.

Stock’s evasive maneuver caused her car to run off the road and into a median. The vehicle came to a stop when it crashed into a cable barrier on the median.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Stock sustained serious injuries from the crash. They rushed  Stock to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.

There is no information about Stock’s current condition available at this time.
