Woman killed in truck crash on Highway 94 near Weldon Spring

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO — A 45-year-old St. Charles woman died Friday morning in a intersection collision on Highway 94 near Weldon Spring, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on Highway 94 at Wolfrum Road and was reported at 9:00 a.m.

A 2019 Freightliner conventional truck driven by a 21-year-old Wentzville man traveled into the intersection during a sustained red signal and struck the driver’s side of a 2011 Ford Fusion that had entered the intersection to make a left turn.

EMS personnel said the driver of the Fusion, the St. Charles woman, died at the scene.

The at-fault driver of the Freightliner truck was not reported injured.
