Woman injured in two-vehicle accident in Warren Co.

WARREN CO., MO – A woman was injured near Wright City earlier this week when her sedan collided with a pickup truck hauling a trailer.

According to the official report taken by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Route O, south of Stracks Church Road, at about 9:20 a.m. Monday. Kimberly Tverberg was traveling north on Rte O when she lost control of her Volkswagen Passat while negotiating a turn and entered the southbound lane, where she hit a Chevrolet Silverado and the trailer it was hauling.

Tverberg was seriously injured in the crash, while her four-year-old passenger was unhurt. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis via ambulance.

The driver of the Silverado is not believed to have been injured.
