Woman injured in multi-vehicle crash along I-29 in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO — A woman suffered injuries in an accident Thursday evening involving four vehicles on Interstate 29 in Kansas City, according to a crash report by Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened along a stretch of I-29 near North Oak Trafficway and was reported at 5:15 p.m.

A 2014 Dodge Ram initially rear-ended a Dodge Caravan, which caused it to strike a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze. The Dodge Caravan then lost control and hit a 2000 GMC 1500.

The woman who was driving the Dodge Caravan sustained moderate injuries and was transported to North Kansas City Hospital.

No other injuries were reported in the accident.

All vehicles in the incident were either totaled or received significant damage.
