Woman injured in Maries Co. T-bone accident

BELLE, MO (MARIES COUNTY) – A woman from Bland was injured last night in a T-bone car accident in Maries County, according to a crash report published by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 6:10 p.m. in Belle, on Missouri Highway 89 when the driver of a 2018 Ford Explorer, 50-year-old Dawn R. Hicks, of Belle, failed to yield the right of way.

The Ford collided with the side of a 2011 Toyota Prius operated by 54-year-old Katy L. Jackson, of Bland.

Jackson was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Both drivers were wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened.
