Woman injured in accident on Route AT

VILLA RIDGE, MO (FRANKLIN COUNTY) – A woman was injured yesterday afternoon following a car accident on Route AT in Franklin County, according to a crash report posted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred just before 1 p.m. at the intersection of AT with Tasha Loop.

A 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by 70-year-old Kathleen E. Harrison, of Villa Ridge, was stopped on the side of the road. Without yielding to traffic, Harrison pulled out in front of another vehicle, a 2016 Ford Taurus, which was unable to avoid colliding with her.

The driver of the Taurus, 49-year-old Villa Ridge woman Jacqueline C. Harfst, was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington for moderate injuries.

Harrison is not reported as having been injured.

Both drivers were reportedly wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred.
