Woman hospitalized following crash in St. Francois

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO – A woman from St. Francois was taken to the hospital following a Monday night rollover crash.

According to the Daily Journal, the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of U.S. 67 near Stormy Lane at about 10:00 p.m. The crash report states that 43-year-old Sunshine House overcorrected after almost striking an oncoming vehicle on the freeway. The overcorrections caused House to lose control of her vehicle and strike a rock embankment and overturn two times.

House was transported via ambulance to Parkland Health Center to be treated for moderate injuries. Officials say she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
