Woman hospitalized after single-vehicle crash in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, MO – A woman was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash along Route U Friday morning.

According to an official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly after 10:20 a.m., just north of Route J.

Police say Evelyn Koenig, 29, of Troy, swerved to avoid something in the road then careened into an embankment, causing her 2010 Honda Civic to overturn on the side of the road.

Koenig was transported to Mercy Hospital Lincoln to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
