Woman dead after 18-year-old with gunshot wounds crashes vehicle

ST. LOUIS, MO – A woman was killed, and an 18-year-old was critically hurt after their vehicle crashed in the Greater Ville area while they were fleeing a shooting early this morning.

According to KMOV, the accident happened on Natural Bridge Avenue, near E Prairie Avenue, at about 1:30 .a.m., as the 18-year-old driver of a BMW 328i lost control of the vehicle while traveling at a high rate of speed.

The driver, who had multiple gunshot wounds, crashed into a concrete barrier, and then the vehicle caught on fire.

The driver’s brother reportedly took him to the hospital for the treatment of critical injuries.

A female passenger was discovered dead at the scene with severe burn injuries.

The identities of the victims were not immediately released.
