Woman and two children injured in Highway BB collision near Union

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO — A woman and two children suffered injuries Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Highway BB near Union, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred along Highway BB at the intersection to US Route 50 and was reported by Trooper C. C. Marlow at 4:25 p.m.

A 2004 Mercury Mountaineer was traveling eastbound on US-50 when it started to make a left turn onto northbound Highway BB. The driver of a 2021 Ford Bronco was traveling southbound on Highway BB failed to yield to the Mountaineer and began turning left onto eastbound US-50, striking the Mountaineer.

The driver of the Mountaineer, a 35-year-old woman, along with two occupants aged three and fifteen, were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Washington with minor injuries.
