Woman and 17-year-old boy injured in Jefferson County accident

HOUSE SPRINGS, MO (JEFFERSON COUNTY) – Two people, including a 17-year-old boy, were injured in an accident today in Jefferson County, according to a crash report posted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at 5:10 p.m. at Highway 30 and Gravois Road.

A 1999 Chevrolet Corvette driven by 17-year-old Trent A. Matheis, of Byrnesmille, was stopped in traffic when it was rear-ended by a 2006 Dodge Durango.

Matheis and the driver of the Dodge, Cedar Hill woman Mindy M. Seyer, 38, were both taken to the hospital for the treatment of minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred.

The Chevrolet and the Dodge were both totaled in the collision.
