Winfield driver injured after Chevrolet Impala hits utility pole

WINFIELD, MO – A 37-year-old Winfield driver was injured after he crashed his 2003 Chevrolet Impala into a utility pole on Wednesday night.

Jason W. Garvin was traveling north on N. Chantilly Road when he traveled off the left side of the road, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. The Chevrolet hit a utility pole at 107 N. Chantilly Road around 9:35 p.m.

Garvin was transported to St. Joseph West Hospital for minor injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The Chevrolet was totaled.
