Villa Ridge pedestrian fatally struck by driver on Highway 100

VILLA RIDGE, MO (FRANKLIN COUNTY) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a driver on Highway 100 in Villa Ridge early this morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at Highway 100 and Cromwell Drive at 3:10 a.m., as 56-year-old Villa Ridge man Jason L. Gilley was walking in the right lane of the roadway.

He was then struck by the driver of an unknown vehicle.

Gilley was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington, and at 3:52 a.m., he was there pronounced dead.

There was no information regarding the possible driver or vehicle.
