Vehicles collide while avoiding a previous crash, injuring one

ST. LOUIS, MO – A passenger vehicle and semi truck collided while attempting to avoid a previous accident Wednesday afternoon on I-70 west of Jennings Station Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. One person was injured.

A previous crash on I-70 forced Cameron Redden, 27, to stop his vehicle in the interstate’s second lane. Terry White, 61, was unable to stop his 2004 Kenworth 900 and struck Redden’s vehicle.

Both drivers were uninjured. Redden’s passenger, 27-year-old Jasmine Artice, was transported to Barnes Jewish Hospital with minor injuries.

White’s truck was towed from the scene.
