Vehicle rear-ended after driver fails to yield

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO – Three people were injured after the vehicle they were riding in was rear-ended Friday afternoon on Missouri 8, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Charles Moentmann, 28, was making a left turn at Germania Road in a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban when a 2009 Hyundai Sonata failed to yield.

At 12:50 p.m. the Hyundai hit the back of the Chevrolet and injured the driver and two other occupants.

All three individuals were transported to Washington County Memorial Hospital
