Update: Police identify woman killed in Tuesday’s I-270 crash

HAZELWOOD, MO – Police identified the woman that was hit and killed when her semi broke down on westbound I-270 on Tuesday afternoon.

This is an update to an earlier post.

According to St. Louis Post-Dispatch, police identified the semi driver as 66-year-old Ollie M. Hollman, of St. Louis.

The fatal accident occurred on westbound I-270 near the James McDonnell Boulevard exit around 12:37 p.m.

She was placing cones around the semi to notify other motorists it was stalled when another driver hit her. The drive stayed on the scene while authorities investigated.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
