Update: Police identify woman killed in fatal I-70 crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – Police identified the woman killed in a fatal crash that took place on I-70 Wednesday morning as 42-year-old Mariaraphaella Nguyen-Truong.

This is an update to an earlier story.

Nguyen-Truong crashed in the express lanes of eastbound I-70 near E. Carrie Avenue at around 6:30 am., according to KMOV4 News. She was standing on the passenger side of her vehicle when a 2015 Nissan Altima hit her and her vehicle.

Responding authorities pronounced Nguyen-Truong dead at the crash scene. The Altima’s driver sustained minor injuries, which were treated at a local hospital.
