Update: MSHP releases more details in Thursday’s fatal I-64 crash

LAKE SAINT LOUIS, MO – Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal crash on I-64 that killed a Troy woman on Thursday morning.

This is an update to a previous post.

MSHP released additional details about the crash. Katrina L. Tutor, 37, traveled from the left hand lane to the right hand lane and then off the side of eastbound I-64. Her 2004 Ford Expedition hit a concrete block, overturned, and erupted into flames.

The fatal crash occurred east of the Prospect Road exit (1C) around 8 a.m.

Tutor was pronounced dead at the crash scene at 8:15 a.m. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Ford was totaled.
