Union driver sustains injuries after vehicle hits tree

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO – A 29-year-old Union driver was injured after her 2012 Chevrolet Silverado hit a tree on Highway A early Sunday morning.
Heather E. Sullivan was traveling southbound on Highway A when her Chevrolet traveled off the right side of the road, police report. The Chevrolet hit a tree near the Glossy Lane intersection around 1:55 a.m.
Sullivan was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington for minor injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.
The Chevrolet was totaled.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
