Two women injured in wrong-way crash on Highway 370

ST. PETERS, MO – Two people were injured Sunday morning as a result of a wrong-way collision in St. Charles County, reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 12:51 a.m. on Highway 370, near Salt River Road, when the driver of an eastbound 2019 Mazda 3 entered the road’s westbound lanes.

The Mazda 3, driven by 28-year-old St. Louis woman Sharita R. Beck, collided head-on with a 2014 Mazda CX9, operated by 35-year-old Lauren E. Beatman, of Moscow Mills.

Beck received minor injuries in the accident, while Beatman’s injuries were deemed moderate. Both women were taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital at St. Charles for treatment.

According to reports, both drivers were wearing a seatbelt.
