Two women injured in crash on US 61

WENTZVILLE, MO – Two women were injured when their 2013 Ford Focus collided with a trailer being towed by the Volvo V3 in front of them.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday, on southbound US 61 just north of Wentzville Parkway. Driver Deanna Purvis lost control of the Focus and crashed into the towed unit of the Volvo in front of her.

Purvis and her passenger both received minor injuries, and were taken to a nearby hospital. Their vehicle suffered extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene.
