Two vehicle collision on US-61 results in multiple injuries

LINCOLN COUNTY, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a car crash on US-61 left multiple people injured. The crash happened at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday on US-67 at North Lincoln Drive.

The accident occurred after the driver of a Buick Lesabre failed to yield to the driver of a 2015 Dodge Durango while making a left turn. The Dodge was hit in the front on the driver’s side.

All occupants of the Dodge had moderate injuries and were taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis. Both the driver and a passenger from the Buick had serious injuries and were transported to Mercy Hospital South by officials.
