Two teenagers seriously injured in I-70 crash

FORISTELL, MO – Two 19-year-olds were seriously injured in a crash on westbound I-70 on Sunday evening.

Both the driver and passenger of a 2007 Ford 500 were transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for serious injuries after the crash, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Per their report, the vehicle traveled from the left lane into the right lane and off the right side of the highway near mile marker 203.8. The front of the Ford hit a guardrail.

Further investigations into the cause of the crash may be ongoing.
