Two teenagers airlifted to hospital after crash on Hwy E

LACLEDE COUNTY, MO – Two teenagers were airlifted to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash on westbound Highway E on Sunday afternoon.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 18-year-old Sarah L. Wilson was traveling west on Highway E in a 1994 Ford Ranger. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and hit two trees about 7 miles northwest of Lebanon around 3:58 p.m.

Wilson and a 16-year-old female passenger were airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for serious injuries. MSHP reports Wilson was not wearing a seat belt but the passenger was wearing one.

The Ford was totaled.
