Two people injured in two-vehicle crash on Washington Ave and Broadway

ST. LOUIS, MO – Two people were injured, one of them seriously so, when two vehicles collided on Washington Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, according to information from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD).

The crash happened on Washington Avenue and Broadway at 12:05 p.m., when the driver of a red 2017 GMC Yukon collided with a gray 2019 Jeep Wrangler.

The driver of the Yukon, Jessica A. Javier, suffered severe injuries in the accident.

The other driver, Chance A. Vollmer, sustained what were thought to be non-critical injuries in the crash.
