Two people injured in three-vehicle crash in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD, MO – Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Chesterfield Airport Road and Olive Street Road on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Kyle C. Lindley was traveling east on Chesterfield Airport Road in a 2008 BMW 328I. They report he was being pursued around 2:23 p.m. He failed to make an accurate right turn onto Olive Street Road and crossed over into oncoming traffic on Olive Street Road. The BMW hit a northbound 2018 Subaru Legacy, driven by 45-year-old Kevin W. Hogarth. The impact pushed the Subaru into a 2016 Honda CRV, driven by 71-year-old Charles A. Ontiveros.

An 18-year-old passenger in the BMW and a 67-year-old passenger in the Honda were transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for moderate injuries.

The injured 18-year-old, Jacob J. Crowder, was not wearing a seat belt. All three drivers and the other injured passenger were wearing seat belts.

Both the BMW and Subaru were totaled. The Honda sustained moderate damages.
