Two people injured in southbound I-170 ramp crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – Two people were injured when a driver crashed on the southbound I-170 ramp to Ladue Road on Wednesday evening.

Police report Bernard Little, 24, was traveling too fast on the exit ramp which caused his 2019 Nissan Sentra to go off the left side of the road. The vehicle traveled down an embankment and struck a manhole cover and ditch.

Little was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for serious injuries. A passenger in the car, 24-year-old LaVincent R. Miles, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Barnes Jewish Hospital St. Louis.

Neither Little or Miles had on their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Police report Little did not have car insurance.

The Nissan sustained extensive damages in the crash.
