Two people injured in single-vehicle crash on northbound I-55

ST. LOUIS, MO – Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash on northbound I-55 on Monday night.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, 55-year-old Patrick S. Waller was traveling north on I-55 in a 2008 Dodge 1500. He experienced a medical emergency causing the Dodge to crash into a median wall. The accident happened south of I-270 around 7:53 p.m.

Waller and a 78-year-old male passenger were transported to Mercy Hospital South. Both were wearing seat belts.

The Dodge sustained minor damages.
