Two people injured in rear-end collision in St. Charles County

WELDON SPRING, MO (ST. CHARLES COUNTY) – Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash this afternoon in St. Charles County, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 94 and Wolfrum Road.

The victims are Kathleen A Baker, 64, of O’Fallon, and St. Charles woman Vicky M. Bogue, 61.

Baker was a passenger in a 2019 Toyota Sienna, and Bogue a passenger in a 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman when the accident occurred. They were both wearing their seatbelts.

The Toyota and Mini Cooper were stopped at a traffic light when the accident happened. A 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Steelville resident Christina L Randolph, 44, failed to stop at the light. The front of the Dodge struck the rear of the Mini Cooper, and the Mini Cooper’s front end then struck the back of the Toyota.

Baker and Bogue were sent to the hospital for the treatment of moderate injuries, according to the report.

The three drivers do not have any reported injuries.

The damage to the Toyota was extensive, and the other two vehicles were moderately damaged as well.
