Two people hurt after driver crashes into utility pole on Highway FF

LONEDELL, MO (FRANKLIN COUNTY) – Two people were hurt when a car crashed into a pole in Franklin County last night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on northbound Highway FF, near Old Mount Hope Road, at 8:05 p.m., when 35-year-old Heather R. McGlenn, of Lonedell, was reportedly driving her 2014 Dodge Ram pickup too fast for conditions.

She went off the left side of the road while rounding a curve and collided with a utility pole. The vehicle then overturned.

McGlenn sustained serious wounds in the crash. She and 41-year-old Lonedell man Christopher M. Niehaus, who received minor injuries, were taken to Mercy Hospital Washington for treatment.

The Dodge was totaled in the accident.
