Two injured in Windsor Township crash

WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, MO – A crash in Windsor Township injured two women Thursday night, reports MSHP.

Troopers were dispatched to Miller Road and N Royale Dr after receiving reports of an accident at 7:15 p.m.

Investigators discovered that a Nissan Altima driven by Kya L Henderson, 19 was on Northbound N Royal Drive and were about to turn onto Miller Rd when a 2007  Jeep Compass, driven by Amy M. England, 34, failed to yield.

The Altima struck the front right part of the Jeep, which sent the Altima off the road and into a utility pole, totaling her vehicle.

First responders hospitalized both women at Mercy Hospital-South. Henderson suffered moderate injuries while England suffered minor injuries.

Neither women were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash. Henderson also did not have car insurance.
