Two injured in St. Charles Co. T-bone crash

WELDON SPRING, MO (ST. CHARLES COUNTY) – Two people were injured in an accident at an intersection in St. Charles County Tuesday evening, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at Missouri Highway 94 and Siedentop Road at 6:50 p.m. when a 2015 Ford Fusion, driven by 53-year-old Weldon Spring woman Kathryn J. Sauter, turned onto MO-94.

The front of the Fusion collided with the side of a 2004 Buick Lesabre that was stopped at a traffic light, leading to extensive damage to both vehicles.

Sauter and the driver of the Buick, 53-year-old Richard B. Schulte, also of Weldon Spring, were taken to St. Joseph Hospital St. Charles for the treatment of minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened.
