JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO — Two people were injured early Monday morning in a single-vehicle motorcycle collision on Route F in Pacific of Jefferson County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Trooper B. A. Alcorn responded to the accident along the northbound lanes of Route F near Kilkenny Lane at around 3:00 a.m.

A 2008 Harley-Davidson FXD was traveling northbound on Route F when it was reportedly struck by a deer, which caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash. The driver, a 43-year-old man, and his passenger, a 45-year-old woman, were both ejected from the bike.

The man and woman were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with moderate and minor injuries, respectively. Their conditions have not been disclosed.
