Two injured in Franklin County rollover accident

ROBERTSVILLE, MO (FRANKLIN COUNTY) – Two people were injured Sunday morning as a result of a rollover accident in Franklin County, according to a crash report provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on Holtwick Trail and Route N at about 9:15 a.m.

A 2002 Ford Ranger, driven by 27-year-old Grubville woman Amanda D. Specking, was reportedly driving too fast for the slippery, wet conditions on the road. Specking lost control of the vehicle, which then ran off the side of the roadway and rolled over.

Amanda Specking and her passenger, Sullivan man Anthony W. Specking, 28, were both taken to the hospital for the treatment of minor injuries. Both of the Speckings were wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred.

The Ford was extensively damaged in the collision, according to the report.
