Two injured in crash on State Highway U

ST. LOUIS, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two people were injured yesterday in a crash on State Highway U west of US-61.

The accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. yesterday when the driver of a Toyota Corolla failed to yield to a flashing yellow light, causing her vehicle to hit a Honda Crosstour.

The Toyota was totaled in the accident while the Honda sustained extensive damaged.

The drivers of both vehicles received minor injuries in the crash and were taken by ambulances to a local hospital.
