Two-car crash results in minor injuries

ST.LOUIS, MO – Two people are injured from a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on US -50 when a 2005 Ford Explorer attempted to make a left turn and a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu hit it in the front.

Officials identified the driver of the Ford as Victor Hernandez, 21, and the driver of the Chevrolet as 24-year-old Desiree Rainey.

Both Rainey and a minor in the vehicle were transported to Mercy Hospital Washington with minor injuries.
