ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were forced to shut down one lane on I-55 following an afternoon collision in South St. Louis Tuesday.
According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the accident occurred within the northbound lanes of I-55 near I-255 just after 1:00 p.m.

No injuries have been reported immediately following the crash. However, officials have shut down the right lane on I-55 so the incident can be safely investigated and cleared from the roadway.
