Toddler and woman injured in Laclede County crash

LACLEDE COUNTY, MO – Two people, including a 2-year-old toddler, were injured Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 32.
According to a crash report published by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 5 p.m. about ten miles west of Lebanon, when a 2001 Buick Century drove off the side of the road. The Buick, driven by 32-year-old Buffalo man Vernon W. Alexander, collided with a fence, causing extensive damage to the vehicle.
Two passengers in the Buick, a 2-year-old girl and 30-year-old Britny L. Lankford, were taken to Mercy Springfield Hospital with moderate injuries. All three were wearing safety devices when the crash happened.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
