Three young people injured in Franklin Co. rollover crash

VILLA RIDGE, MO (FRANKLIN COUNTY) – Three young adults were injured in a rollover accident this evening in Franklin County, according to a crash report published by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at 6:44 p.m. at St. Johns Road, located north of Route V.

A 2010 Hyundai Elantra, driven by 19-year-old Gage A. Nieman, of New Haven, traveled off the left side of the roadway after going over a hill. The vehicle then collided with multiple trees and rolled over.

Two passengers, 20-year-old Willow O. White and 18-year-old Kristian C. McDonald, both of Washington, were airlifted to a hospital in St. Louis for the treatment of serious injuries. Nieman was sent to the hospital by private transport for minor injuries.

White was the only one of the occupants not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Hyundai was totaled in the collision.
