Three-vehicle crash on US-36 leaves three people injured

MACON COUNTY, MO – Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on westbound US-36 on Friday afternoon.

Danny R. Baker, 59, was traveling west on US-36 in a semi when he rear-ended a westbound dump truck, police report. The impact pushed the dump truck into a 2018 Ford Escape. Police report the accident happened two miles east of Macon around 3:49 p.m.

All three drivers sustained moderate injuries and were wearing seat belts. They were each transported to Samaritan Hospital in Macon.

Police report all three vehicles were totaled.
