Three-vehicle crash on I-55 injures one

ST. LOUIS, MO – Two vehicles and a dump truck collided on southbound I-55 on Tuesday morning, resulting in at least one injury.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1998 Honda Accord, driven by 27-year-old Kyle Kellogg, traveled into the lane of a 2019 Jeep Latitude. Both vehicles then traveled off the right side of the road.

The Honda struck the cable barrier, traveled across the US-50 ramp, struck another cable barrier, and ended up back on the highway. The Jeep also traveled across the US-50 ramp, but was struck by a dump truck.

Kellogg was transported to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
