Four injured in three-vehicle accident

ST. LOUIS, MO – Four people were injured in a three-vehicle collision in Washington County this morning, according to a report filed by the Missouri State highway Patrol.

Joshua Gibson, 37, backed his 1996 Ford F-350 into the driving lane of Highway 8 near Ridgeway Road at 11:40 a.m.. Gibson collided with a 2017 Jeep Renegade driven by 17-year-old Jordan Browne. Brown then moved into the center lane where the front of his vehicle struck the front of a 2000 Freightliner operated by William Lewis, 72.

Four people were injured in the crash. Browne was sent to St. Louis Children’s Hospital with serious injuries. Lewis was sent to Washington County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Two passengers—Caleb Browne, 26, and Rita Lewis, 64—were sent to Washington County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
