Three people sustain serious injuries when car overturns

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO – Three people were seriously injured when a car struck a median cable barrier and overturned on northbound US-67 early Sunday morning.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2018 Infiniti Q50, driven by 35-year-old Jose Garcia, was traveling northbound on US-67 near Fairgrounds Drive when it traveled of the side of the road. The vehicle struck a median cable barrier and overturned around 1 a.m.

Garcia sustained serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital South. Two passengers, 38-year-old Luis Flores and 62-year-old Felipe Flores, sustained serious injuries as well and were transported to Parkland Health Center Farmington.

It is unclear what caused the crash.
